Ok, so Mary Poppins hits town
Bowral in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, on Saturday May 7th. Not that much time to organise a trip into this beautiful region and also to join in the Welcome Home Mary Poppins, but for those who can make it, the locals (and Mary) extend a great welcome. The gathering of the clan, so to speak, will attempt a record breaking event,- namely creating a mosaic greater than that set by the 1,026 people in Serbia in 2009. If interested and to register your intent, telephone (02) 4801 0622. The big day is to salute a former Bowral resident,- Helen Goff, the creator of Mary Poppins.
