Sardinian Cavalcade
May 22nd is the date thus year for the Sardinian Cavalcade, a gathering of locals and visitors who parade in their colourful costumes, participate in various traditions including a parade of horsemen. Commemorating a special day way back in 1899 when the king and queen arrived in town. Unlike most Sardinian feasts this festival is not a religious event,- but rather a chance to participate in an historic cultural celebration.
