On 17 April 1935, Qantas launched its first international passenger flight from Brisbane to Singapore. The journey took three and a half days, included 16 stops, and carried just two passengers.
Fast forward to today, and that same route takes eight hours on an Airbus A330 — a powerful reminder of how far aviation has come in 90 years.
