TRUE: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Alexander Downer has racked-up
over 3.5-million frequent flyer points with Qantas, but says he can't
use most of them: as they were earned on official business, they can
only be used for official trips, and like most of us, he finds that he
can never get on the flights he wants. So he has to keep buying
tickets for most of his travels – which of course earns him more
frequent flyer points, that like those he's already got, he'll most
likely never use.
